Facing problem while controlling ball coming from air? Here are a few drills which you can do in limited space without any equipment to master your aerial ball control.
Juggling (single foot)
Start by juggling with only one foot. It is suggested to take small touches as it will help you to control the ball more. If you are facing difficulty doing this you can make it easier by catching the ball with your hand after every three juggles.
REPS:- 50 with each foot
2.Juggling (alternating both foot)
Now juggle the ball alternatively with both your feet.Its ok if the ball goes out of control.Continue counting your reps when you as you start again.
REPS:-100
3.HIGH TO LOW TOUCH JUGGLES(top of the foot)
Here are the steps for the following drill:-
1. Kick the ball to a height of about 5 feet
As the ball comes down, take a small touch with the top of your foot to keep the ball in control
Again kick the ball up.
REPS:- 30 WITH EACH LEG
4.HIGH TO LOW TOUCH JUGGLES (inside foot)
This one is same as the previous one the only difference being you have to take your first touch with the inside of your foot rather than the top of your foot.
REPS:- 30 WITH EACH LEG
5.HIGH TO LOW TOUCH(outside foot)
This one is also same as the third one but you have to take your touch with the outside of your foot.
REPS:- 30 WITH EACH LEG
6.THIGH JUGGLES(Alternating)
In this one you have to juggle the ball with your thighs. This provides with a large surface area to control the ball.
REPS: 40 WITH EACH LEG
7.OUTSIDE FOOT JUGGLES
In this you have to juggle the ball with the outside of your foot.
REPS:50 EACH LEG
